Motorola could unveil new foldable smartphone before Christmas
Nothing is yet official, but Motorola would intend to present by the end of the year a redesigned version of its flagship model that has passed more than 50 million copies.
By the end of the year, Motorola's first collapsible phone will be on the market, announces CNET. To stand out from the competition, Motorola would bet on both originality and nostalgia. This foldable screen phone project was confirmed in early 2019, without further specification of its technical specifications. Since then, various images have leaked, especially on Weibo, the famous Chinese social network. In the wake of the Samsung Galaxy Fold (released in September) and the Huawei Mate X (expected in October), the first two folding screen models marketed, the Moto Razr is expected by the end of 2019.

In addition to its name, the Moto Razr should be inspired by the design of the famous range of Motorola flip phones that sold like hotcakes at the beginning of the century. Unlike the competition, this Moto Razr should not close like a book. It also promises to be more compact and above all more affordable than the Galaxy Fold or the Mate X which happily exceed 2,000 $.
Today subsidiary of Chinese Lenovo, Motorola decides to play the card of nostalgia. This reminds, in a kind certainly less innovative, the return of the Nokia 8110 in the form of a 4G model in 2018
