Airpods Pro: Apple puts noise reduction in its headphones

After having convinced the majority with the AirPods, Apple decided to go further with a Pro version that is much more than just an update. What already confirms the price, since it will cost 309 USD!

Apple is often criticized for imitating competition, but with the AirPods the Apple brand has clearly transformed the world of wireless headphones. Admittedly, the audio quality does not equal the models of the biggest brands of Hi-Fi, but difficult to make it easier to use, especially for owners of iPhone. Even if these Bluetooth headphones fit all ears, and it was rare to lose them, the brand has decided to return to an ultimately more classic design with tips. Unlike some brands, which deliver their headphones with half a dozen bits, Apple has tried to please everyone with three different sizes. A priori, the risks of loss are reduced, and better still the headphones incorporate an algorithm that allows to define the best tip size for your ears is the Ear Tip Fit Test. This makes it possible at the same time to propose an active noise reduction function, which has become common on most in-ear models.

At best, five hours of autonomy

As a bonus, the headphones embark an "adaptive" equalizer, able according to Apple to "automatically adjust the low and mid frequencies according to the morphology of each ear". Among other functions, there is of course the presence of Siri and especially the presence of a mode "Transparency" that switches between what we listen, and the outside noise. This requires long press on the earphone to switch from "Active noise reduction" mode to "Transparency" mode, and vice versa.

Side autonomy, it is not exceptional with the promise of 5 hours of listening without recharging, and 4 hours 30 minutes when the active reduction of noise is present. Fortunately, the case, which evolves little, promises 24 hours of recharge. All for a price of  309 USD, and at this price, music lovers may turn to models of major brands audio
