Processor
The processor is an electronic circuit that performs arithmetic and logical operations. The name microprocessor is that the components of the processor are no longer distinct but incorporated in the same integrated circuit. The processor is to be seen as the nerve center of the computer. The main processors encountered in the PC world are the Intel Pentium and the AMD Athlon.
